Our custom-designed transducers are specified by the award-winning EAW design team to ensure the highest possible quality and efficiency when integrated into an HD system. A high-end 15″ neodymium woofer with a 3″ voice coil is built to handle the massive power delivered by the Class-D Fast Recovery™ amplifier. A 1.75″ compression driver is made using heat-treated titanium, ensuring years of brilliant high-frequency reproduction. The 3-way HD1531 incorporates a 6” midrange transducer and Mackie’s optimized wide-dispersion WaveFront™ system, ensuring optimum coverage and intelligibility for every seat in the house. Once the transducers are selected, all aspects of the system are custom-tuned by EAW to achieve the most output and best possible sound from every single component.
