Once
you start using it, youll discover that you dont have to take
your eyes off of the console nearly as much. You can run the
transport of any tape or hard-disk based recorder that can slave
to MIDI Machine Controlled. You can create song start and stop
or loop continuously between two points. And you can dial in
any location point in a session right from the console.
POSITION LED display shows SMPTE (hr:min:sec: frame)
or MIDI time code (bars:beats:ticks).
SMPTE VIEW toggles between SMPTE and BBT (bars/beats/ticks)on
the position display.
RANGE LED display shows a location or snapshot number,
or start and end points of a loop.
NUMBER buttons 0-9 let you enter locate or loop points,
and snapshot numbers on the range display or specific locations
on the position display.
SET TIME dedicates the number buttons to entering a new
time on the position display.
LOOP assigns the number buttons to set from and to points
for a loop.
LOCATOR sets the number buttons to enter specific location
numbers in the range display. It also recalls locations.
ENTER initiates numeric changes that have been entered
on the number keys.
TRANSPORT controls (rewind, fast fwd, stop, play, record)
let you run external devices that respond to various Machine
Control protocols.
ROTARY DIAL ENCODER is multifunction. When the JOG
& SHUTTLE button is pushed, the dial locks external transports
to allow shuttle-style transport as well as scrub functions
for the HDR24/96 Hard Disk Recorder and other recorders and
DAWs that support MMC jog/shuttle commands. |
