DJ Direct (aka T.J. Bligen)

Born and raised in Queens, New York City, DJ Direct is no stranger to Hip-Hop. After moving to Philadelphia at age 15 and with a lot of help and support from his mother, Direct acquired his first set of turntables. With the discipline of a karate master, Direct spent the next three years perfecting his own unique style.

At 18, he brought his act to the streets and quickly took over Philly’s rampant underground scene, ultimately claiming numerous local competitions including both the 2003 and 2004 Guitar Center Pennsylvania Spin-Off Championships. It wasn’t long before he was playing for some of the biggest names in the business, rockin’ parties along side the likes of Lil’ Bow Wow, O.D.B., DJ Red Alert, and Ghostface Killa.

A recent West Coast implant, DJ Direct has taken Las Vegas by storm, immediately claiming a residency at one of the top clubs in Sin City, the Vivid Nightclub in The Venetian Hotel and Casino.

DJ Flip (aka Rick Sajorda)

DJ Flip started out as a mobile DJ in 1997, honing his skills by entertaining at all types of events from weddings to sweet 16s, bar mitzvahs, corporate parties and school dances. Unlike most DJs, Flip learned to scratch on CDs. As he fine-tuned his skills, Flip turned to vinyl to absorb and appreciate the art of scratching in its original form.

Spawning from gigs in his local community, Flip made his professional mark at various hot spots in central New Jersey such as The Conduit in Trenton, Culture Club in Princeton, and Savoy’s in Hamilton. Flip has also shared the stage with international recording artists such as Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock, Coro, Lisette Melendez, Judy Torres, and The Cover Girls.

Currently, Flip is the resident DJ at Café Spice in Philadelphia, where he energizes the crowd with his unique blend of hip-hop, old school house and new house.
