Mackie Upstairs Showroom Offers Free Wi-Fi
Come to check out the gear, stay to check your Facebook newsfeed
ANAHEIM, CA – January 19, 2012 - Mackie’s upstairs location in Demo Room 209A offers attendees a great place to not only interact with the latest Mackie gear, it also serves as an oasis from the chaos of the busy show floor. The massive location offers free Wi-Fi access and dedicated iPad® stations where visitors can enter Facebook and Twitter giveaways or hop online to check their email and share their NAMM experience.
“We know you want to get your hands on the new gear,” remarked Ampeg Social Network Manager, Ryan Cassady. “But you should stay, relax a bit and get online. After all, if you meet your favorite artist at NAMM, you don’t want to have to wait to post the picture to Facebook.”
Visitors can enter two separate Mackie giveaways during the show. The Mackie “Digital & Unplugged” Facebook giveaway offers the chance to win Mackie’s all new DL1608™ 16-channel digital mixer with iPad control (including a new Apple® iPad). A Twitter giveaway encourages followers to re-tweet official Mackie tweets during the show for a chance to win a pair of MR5mk2 Powered Studio Monitors. Visit Mackie’s eNews blog at www.mackie.com for full details on both giveaways.
