November 9, 2007 - Woodinville, Wash. –Mackie is the exclusive PA system for Activision's Guitar Hero III. On every stage, in every venue, the PA systems will be filled with Mackie Active Loudspeakers, including the SA Series, SR Series, and SRM 450s used as floor wedges.

Mackie is joined by other leaders in the industry such as Gibson, Marshall, Zildjian, DW and Audio-Technica.

Guitar Hero III will take the game and a genuine Mackie PA system on the road later in the year. They are scheduled for 10 cities and 40 different tour stops where gamers will compete to be their city's resident Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero III is now available in stores.
