Mackie at NAMM - Day 2 on the Floor

We had a little time to wander around the show floor. These photos don't give you the scope of the place, and now we'll tell you what we found interesting.

Apple made a splash of their own at NAMM. Need we lust after their mighty G5 any more?

'Nuff said.

Welcome to NAMM U. Be sure to take careful notes.

A labyrinth of guitars and truss.

Just to give you an idea of how big this show is, this is just one of the walkways in Hall A. Multiply this by eight gazillion, you'll have half the size of this show. Sorry this picture is so blurry. I asked everyone to hold still. They just wouldn't listen.
You'd think the angle of the photograph makes the show floor look chaotic. Well, this isn't trick photography. This is actually pretty tame. Not only could you see the latest in pro audio, but you could also get interior design cues at NAMM. Take this way cool lounge motif for example.
Another shot of one of our favorite rooms at NAMM. The only way to catch everything on the show floor was to move at the speed of light... like this guy on his Segway.
After wandering around the show floor, it was decided that the Mackie/TAPCO booth was killer. Not that we're biased or anything.   This picture is just too good for words to describe it. It's also too good for a picture.
