As a major event sponsor at SXSW, Mackie is all over the place. One place you can see us is at the dual-venue PureVolume event. Last year, this was the most talked about event at SXSW. The indoor venue opens it’s doors from 2pm until 4am every day and packs in the people (the open bar helps). There is no avoiding the Mackie gear at this party, from the stage monitors all the way up to FOH. Are we allowed to hit the bar?

We are also hosting an official SXSW Party called “Next Big Nashville’s Booze, Bands, and Biscuits”, which will be held on Friday, March 14th. Not only will partygoers enjoy free drinks and a biscuit bar (yes, you read that right), they will be able to hear tons of live music from Nashville’s finest. The party will include Mackie door prizes and some lucky person will win an all-expense paid trip to Next Big Nashville 2008!

As if that isn’t enough, Mackie is sponsoring the notorious Levis/Fader Magazine House again this year. This all-night, celebrity shoulder-rubbing, party like a rock star house is THE place to be when the sun goes down. Mackie’s TT System32 will be driving the show from FOH and the all-new SRM450v2 will be pumping music on and off the stage. So, make sure to stop by the best house party at SXSW…like you could avoid it.
