Tracktion LAME Download Links
To import and export MP3 files in Tracktion 3, you will need to download
the lame codec to your computer. This is used by Tracktion to read and
write mp3 files. You can download the necessary file for your platform
by following a link below. As these pages are not maintained by Mackie,
multiple links have been provided for your convenience.
Once downloaded, place the appropriate file ("lame.exe" on PC, "lame" on
Mac) somewhere sensible on your hard disk. Choose the location of the
codec from the "LAME location" file chooser found in the "file settings"
settings tab in Tracktion.
