I was doing a video shoot in Hobbs at the Event Center and I was fortunate to be able to use some of my own speakers and power amps but also the house power amps and speakers. Problem was, the level needed for my own power amps and speakers plus a feed to my video recorder was different than the one needed for the house system. Once set for what I believed was correct for all of my stuff, the level was just too low for the house. I could hear the house but not enough. I was mixing with my recently purchased 1402 VLZ Pro. I had brought my older 1202 VLZ as a back-up. I took an output from the 1402 VLZ Pro and fed the 1202VLZ and fed it's output to the house. This gave me the ability to set the house independently from the rest of my mix. I also allowed the cable channel to take their audio feed from the 1202VLZ for the simulcast. Everything was just great!
