This DFX12 is a TANK. I have been gigging with this and using it as my house mixer for mobile DJ use for about 3 years now. I have my other DJ oriented mixers plugged through it with transparent sound, so no coloration or degrading in quality over here. Mackie mixers have never given me any problems. I also have my backup rig wired into my DFX and one time it saved my a** when my DVS got kicked off when I lost power. I instantly switched over to my backup CD rig with no problems and was able to mix some songs in until I got my computer plugged into a live circuit and up and running. It's even lasted being dropped onto its face with no bent potentiometers or bleeding faders. Talk about a tough mixer!
This mixer would go so nicely with a nice pair of the HD speakers, making my rig even more roadworthy and reliable. Mackie mixers and loudspeakers are a well worth investment. :D
