I’ve been doing Elvis impersonations for last two years. I have dropped my four SRM 450 speakers countless times with no harm to their performance. Now I know that if Mackie guys state their products are built like tanks they do mean it. But I want to tell you about a real horror I went through last year when I performed on a private party and after 25 minutes of my show listeners announced that rain was coming (videotaped & attached) then all of a sudden it started pouring and all of my equipment got drenched before I could stroke everything down and put in a safe place. That was the end of my show on that day and I was really worried if that was possible to fire up all that stuff again. I dried up everything at home and guess what it still works as brand new.
