One of the most memorable moments I remember using my Mackie equipment happened a few winters ago. I had to pull in with my trailer behind a house before I could get to my gig’s site because the first event had not loaded out. Sure enough, as soon as I could move to the load in site, the truck and trailer got stuck in soft ground with about four inches of snow cover, plus it was about 15 to 20 degrees outside. For awhile, we tried to get the truck and trailer unstuck. Then after those efforts seemed to have failed, we decided we would have to unload the trailer. This required me to take out two SW1501speakers plus the companion SW1801 sub-woofers. These units weighed about 100 to 120 pounds each and unfortunately they had to sit on the snow covered ground. After getting the truck and trailer unstuck, we were finally able to get moving, reload the trailer, and get to the venue. To my satisfaction the speakers kicked out the jams for the 4 hour show without any problems. I really enjoy all my Mackie products. It amazing equipment at great prices and can obviously take a beating.
