Well to say a few words, I always loved sound & audio and mackie was one of the very few brands that caught my eye. I had bought two C200 speakers as I was on a tight budget but they were perfect for my needs. The family also loves them on some occasions!! One day I get called by friend looking for a house to do a gig also I had my speakers which I just brought two weeks ago. This gig had 7-8 bands. Many of them screamed during their songs and I was worried. My speakers were run of a Crown CE4000, that amp is a beast. During the whole night I kept checking on the speakers. The back was hot as hell due to the amps large power being fed into them. I also kept smelling the front of the speakers. I got that 'overdriven' smell and that had me worried as we were only half way through the gig. But they survived the last band which was only screaming and I mean screaming. People wanted it higher. My speakers went on through the whole night and survived all the torture and they were only two weeks old. So I gave them a week off and fired them back up. they worked just as I brought them. Thank you Mackie, for being my first speakers that I have ever owned.
